Different foot shapes determine your character

What YOUR feet say about YOU?

True, as a cheer shoe specialist Living Cheer has more than a passing interest in your feet and how each of our brands, and styles, fits your foot so that you can enjoy your cheerleading. But, did you know that in some cultures the shape of your feet, and more specifically your toes, is used to assess your character and personality traits?

Foot Shape

So, just for fun, get those shoes and socks off, and learn a little bit more about yourself and those around you – what shape are YOUR feet?

     1. The Stepped Foot

This particular foot shape is characterised by the first three toes being of the same height, with the other two in descending order. People who possess this toe shape are known to have a busy life style, love dance, are always on the go, and are focused on the balance between mind, body and spirit. They are very “even” in their personality, with few highs and lows, though they tend to be disorganised as they are always on the move. People love being friends with this personality type as they always have a story for you and love to gossip. They are inherently outgoing and love adventures, meeting new people, as well as discovering different cultures and spaces. They are doers and are the first to muck in, never on the side-lines watching!  They have a definite wanderlust, you won’t find them living in their home town in twenty years’ time!

  1. The Level Foot

The 'Level” foot has all toes of practically the same length, with the big toe maybe a tad bit longer, but only just! Their feet appear square in shape because of this property. As people, their outstanding personality traits are patience, understanding, empathy and loyalty. This personality is the person you want around when you are in trouble and need help as they will not let you down, they are ROCK SOLID. They will be the most thoughtful people you know. They think, for ages, about all possibilities when faced with a problem before coming to a decision. They are the ideal choice for resolving issues and conflicts. Pragmatic, honest and loyal by nature, they are truly sorted in life. But, don’t ignore their advice, as they feel they will have done their best for you - you’ll lose them as a friend. They love to lead a simple life and avoid any conflicts, complications or ups and downs. They are the “mum” in your group.

  1. The Flame Foot.

Flame Foot or Fire Foot is the shape that is characterised by a protruding second toe, which is even longer than the big toe. People who have this type of foot are seen as extremely sporty, well-coordinated, inspired, open-minded to all ideas, creative and have great leadership qualities. However, they are can be impulsive, and have a tendency to stress out wondering if they have made the right decision. Their energy is infectious and team mates and friends love to have them around. They love causing chaos, want to be the centre of attention just to make sure everyone is looking at them! In short, there’s always a party when you hang out with this personality!

  1. The Egyptian Foot.

The Egyptian foot is distinguished by a long big toe, followed by the other toes gently sloping down at an angle to the baby toe. The entire arrangement of your toes is at an incline, and usually you have a longer and slender foot than other shapes. People who have feet like this have a royal air about them, and love extra pampering and consider themselves to be extra special and enjoy the luxury life style. They have an eye for beauty and are usually very friendly enjoying the company of others. They mix well at parties and family gatherings as they can deal with all personality types. They enjoy wearing bright colours and always trust their first impression of the people they meet. They love to share and make others happy, the home and family are at the centre of their life. They will follow their heart rather than their head.

Does your foot shape match the personality traits we have mentioned – we’d love to hear your thoughts?

Whatever the shape of your feet, chose your cheer trainers to accommodate the longest and widest part of your foot and you will feel comfortable and secure when cheerleading. Have fun!
