What Cheer shoes should I get?
Which Cheer Shoes Should I get? We frequently get asked questions about the cheer shoes we sell, especially by Mums buying for their daughters, so we thought we’d write this blog to help mum’s choose the appropriate cheer trainers. What are the Best Cheer Shoes? Well, really there is no “best”, which shoe you decide to buy depends on a number of factors, the main one being what level has your daughter achieved? Have they just started cheerleading or have they been training for a year or more and can now do some of the routines, exercises and stunts...
Cheerleaders In Lockdown - their own words!
At Living Cheer we wanted to know how the impact of lockdown, with no face-to-face contact to their squads, clubs or team-mates, was having on cheerleaders! So we asked for 50-100 words from cheerleaders about what they were doing to remain positive, motivated and ready for when they could return to cheerleading. The response to our call was fantastic and we selected five girls to share their thoughts. Here are their heartfelt words. What stood out for us was how central cheerleading was to their lives and how much they were looking forward to cheerleading returning soon. My name is Sophie...
What YOUR feet say about YOU!
What YOUR feet say about YOU? True, as a cheer shoe specialist Living Cheer has more than a passing interest in your feet and how each of our brands, and styles, fits your foot so that you can enjoy your cheerleading. We are now despatching three times a week!
As restrictions slowly lift, and we witness new ways to get cheerleaders & cheer squads together for training, Living Cheer will now be sending orders out three times a week on Mon, Wed and Fridays. As we see a rise the demand for our products we will move back to sending parcels out everyday - until then we continue to admire the way in which coaches and cheerleaders have kept in shape, remained positive and have demonstrated the love of...
Living Cheer Update
To ALL our Customers and Cheerleaders, Normally, we would be sending you an e-mail promoting one of our fantastic cheer shoes from Kaepa, Zephz or Nfinity, or be showcasing an accessory or be looking forward to a cheer competition at the weekend - but we all know these are not normal times! Living Cheer has taken the decision to temporarily close our distribution centre. This decision has been made in the spirit of the UK Government advice regarding essential businesses, in order to protect the welfare of our staff and families, and to alleviate pressure on delivery services...
Bring It On Films
Bring It On: A pitiful portrayal or a cheerleading triumph?
What more could a 12-year-old want than pretty teens in gorgeous outfits, pulling off incredible routines, competing not only for trophies but for heartthrobs posing as love interests? Well, now that I’m a fully-fledged adult I’m beginning to question whether these films really portrayed cheerleading in the way it should be.
